British baby living in uganda

My wife is Ugandan my baby 12 months old is British born in the UK while we was on holiday here, the we applied for an visa extension but got turned down so my wife, baby and I went back to Uganda got married, then applied again but got refused so we have put an appeal in. any one got any info for us? Please, I am now back in the UK working while they are still in Uganda..... :( :( :( :(
