British Citizenship after PR and Criminal Records

Post by London-er » Wed Mar 03, 2010 5:21 pm

Hi Everyone, I'd really appreciate an assistance about something when Applying for citizenship after my PR and BC qualifiying period.
I have been a victim of identity theft in the past when I left my old flat, someone used my identity( Name and DOB ) on Public Transport when caught without ticket. However, I have been to the Court to clear this issue and I have in my possession documents from the court relating this.

1) I want to know If this hinders my British citizenship in any way and
2) Do I have to state this incident in my application and then include the documents given to me by the court during my application.

Many thanks
