British citizenship after divorce

hi
I was married to my wife whom i got my ILR from a year 6months ago. Our marriage has since gone sour and are in the process of getting a divorce. Can I still make my application for British citizenship.
your advice will be greatly appreciate it

You can apply for BC even if you are separated (legally or not) as long as your wife supports your application by providing her passport or birth certificate. Once you are divorced however you will have to meet the standard requirements which would normally be after 5 years legal residence.
