Hi,
I aM applying for naturalisation. I have a question about nationality.
There is a question in the application:
Do you currently hold, or have you ever held, any other nationality or citizenship?
I have an Indian passport which means that I am Indian national/nationality. Do I need to answer yes to the above-given question?
If I say yes, it further asks me about when I got that nationality and when will it be expiring.
I need clarity on this question if I should say YES or NO to answer this question.
Thanks

Hi again,
How to answer the second part related to the following question in the naturalisation application form:
"Do you have a previous visa, entry clearance or leave to remain where you had to prove your knowledge of English?"
(Required)
My answer to the above question is 'Yes' because I have INDEFINITE LEAVE TO REMAIN. So to answer the following question do I just need to say LEAVE TO REMAIN in the given box in the form?
"Tell us the previous visa, entry clearance or leave to remain you had."

2. MY other question is about the first referee for my application. My first referee is a director of a VAT registered company and is my friend. Is it ok to say that she is my friend to answer the question "How do you know this person?
Many thanks in advance.

This question is a second question AFTER your initial Nationality question. It is asking if you have ANY other nationality other than Indian also.

Are either of the parents of the child (as stated in this application) applying for naturalisation as a British citizen on an AN form?
