British Citizenship application --Help

Hi Everyone
I recently applied british citizenship application by post in end of April, but so far I haven't got reply yet. Is there anyway I can put some pressure on them? The situation is like this. I initially got the result of my character check at beginning of Nov, but I informed them I have changed my address at beginning of Oct (I am student, I move around a lot). Now they said they need to do another check on my new address. This is driving me mad......I mean I gave them five years of addresses, now they want to check the new address for a place I just live for two months.
Ok that's not all......Because they are waiting for confirmation of my new address, I have sent two faxes,one hand-written letter by record delivery, but the address still not update in their record.
so I am struck with deadlock situation since they can't update my new address they can't check my new address.

I mean this is completely crazy, so is there anyway I can do ?
I seriously question the wisdom of checking my record on new address.


It has been very stressful for me.

Please advice me what to do. Thank you

Never received a confirmation letter as well ...I have to ring and ask for one.....
Happen to anyone ? or just me the lucky one
