Hi There,
We are a family of 3 and have been granted ILR on the 16th of April 2010.
Family members:
1)Mother aged over 65 entered the UK on 12th Jan 2005 as a dependant on me, but left UK( back to home country) in May 2005 & returned on feb 2007 , which leaves her with more than 450 days outside of UK (which is one of the criterias to apply for Citizenship) taking her other vactions till date into consideration.she was given her ILR on the day I received my ILR 16th April 2010
2)Wife entered UK as a dependent on me on Feb 2007 got her ILR on the same day as me 16th April 2010, since her arrival to the UK she has not been out for more than 100days, however she has not lived in the UK for 5years.
3)Myself have been here since 12th Jan 2005 till date ILR received on 16th April 2010 and I meet the 450 day ciriteria to apply for British Citizenship.
Now my question is in relation to apply for British Citizenship for my Mother and Wife , given that they have not met the minimum number of days of stay in the UK (450 days), can they still apply for Citizenship as they have been dependents on myself? how does this work please explain
