British Citizenship without EEA4??

hello guys,

Does anyone know if its possible to apply for british citizenship after 6 years? ie 5yrs on EEA 2 + 1 year, but without applying for PR(EEA4)? Has any one had any experiences doing this or if its possible? I eagerly await your responses.
