Applying for British Citizenship on Dec 19

Hello,

I currently hold ILR and naturalisation period completes on Dec 19.

I would like to confirm if anyone knows about employment status while applying for British citizenship.

At the moment I'm doing freelancing jobs and I might not even have a job during Dec 19, will any of it affect my application? Should I get a permanent job now before processing the application?

Please advise.

Employment is NOT mandatory for citizenship.

As you hold ILR, you are free to do ANY work you wish to or not work at all either.
