Guys I've just realised I sent the wrong fee. I wrote down £906 instead of the new increased fee. I paid via credit card. Does anyone know what the procedure to correcting this is or will they just take the appropriate fee. School boy error . cheers

Don't worry, your case worker will contact you in the due course of time and charge the difference in the fees...

My friend who applied on 1st week of April 2015 got his approval on 1st week of May 2015. He has booked his ceremony for this week. He is not in this forum, I will get his timeline and update here shortly. Meanwhile any updates from people who applied before April 6th 2015?

Note- I was away on holiday when the BRP letter arrived otherwise I would have done the BRP the day after the letter was received.
I visited the big post office near clapham junction for the BRP and there was hardly any wait. Not happy I had to pay £20 for a BRP which I already paid for in 2014. UKBA keeps finding new ways of taking money even though we are so close to the finish line.

Hi,

I applied on 17th April (think NCS must have posted this on 20th) and hope it will be approved in line based on applications around then now getting through. I have just realised that the debit card for which I had provided details was lost then cancelled so they wont be able to take through any payments. What do I do? Write to them (if so, who?) or wait for them to contact me? or would my application get rejected based on that?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated...

I applied for naturlaisation and UKVI received my application on 2 April. Got fees deducted and acknowledgement letter and email. My passport was valid until 16 April so it is now expired. Is that ok or they can reject my application or ask me to send a valid passport? please help

Apologies, my friend did not apply in April his fee was deducted on April 2nd 2015.

I confirmed with my friend, this is his timeline.

They'll contact you. There have been others on this board who have been contacted because of incorrect payment details. Or because the fee amount was incorrect.
You'll be asked to provide the correct information. All it does is delay your application.
