BC for Child Born Abroad

Post by bravopapa » Thu Aug 27, 2020 4:02 pm

I am a naturalised BC (BC otherwise than by descent). My wife is due in December this year, she will give birth in Morocco (because her visa expired and as a result she can not fly to UK). My understanding is that the new born is eligible for the BC (but only the BC by descent?).

Can you confirm whether i need to register the new born as a British at the Embassy? What form do i need to fill?

Many Thanks

Just apply for either a British passport or a CoE-RoA.
