Hi guys,
I'd appreciate a bit of help on this. I wanted to register to become a british citizen under the lived in the uk for the first 10 years of my life. The good character requirements state that a non custodial sentence would usually refuse an application if it occurred during the last 3 years.
I had 6 points on my licence for driving whilst uninsured back on the 13th october 2014, which i went to court to plead down the sentence.
The sentencing date was the 5th March 2015, so either way it's been 3 years since the offence occurred but what i wanted to know was that due to it being over 3 years would there be any specific reason as to why they would decline the application now specifically in relation to that offence?
I appreciate this question may seem silly, but i'm just worried about applying and losing the application fee for an application that would get refused.
