Cheers mate. I dont think I had a choice when using Check and send service to post to Peterborough office, shame. Finally got my interview letter today but my wife hasn't recevied yet

i sent my app for first passport on 18/03/14 together with my old passport and nationalization certificate, i need my old passport back till 08/04/14 as i need to travel urgently. (family reasons)

any thoughts would be appreciated....

Hi All

I have my ceremony next Wednesday and would like to apply for passport right after.
I noticed that not many people do Online Application. Is there a reason for that? I think that online application make things easier for me and the passport office (regarding fee payment and electronic input). Won't online application make things faster?
What are your thoughts?
Please guide me.

I called the passport office today just to get an update (am a bit impatient), she said that my passport is waiting to be printed, and that everything was fine. I'm an American citizen with a British mother, so I thought it would take longer and have just been a bit nervous about it all. Apparently I don't need to go in for interview which I thought was a bit strange, but looks like all is well!

After becoming a BC, to get my first adult passport: I used the online system which they recently introduced.

Surprisingly I wasn't asked anything about my parents?

Anyone had a similar experience?

Finally UKnotts! My wife is also one of the unfortunate ones who sent the application to Durham (one day after you submitted your application). Did the interview letter arrive separately from your special delivery envelope with supporting documents, or was it included?
