Anyone ever experienced issue with their passport delivery, Dx secure gave me a date and tracking numbers for my items but never turned up as schedule, made several calls to Dx and they kept assuring me it will get delivered as scheduled but at the end of the day never turned up.... Can't wait to call them in the morning, I wonder what's going on.

Thanks dadageer, I'm just waiting to give DX customer service a call this morning. I can't remember the last time I got so worked up like that, having to wait all day for nil delivery. Anyway, I will update the group on how things go.

Thanks sidhujazz.

It was dealt with by the Peterborough HMPO, the process went really smoothly but I struggled to get early interview appointment at the Luton passport interview office and of course had delays with delivery. I'm sure you will understand if I say, overall the ppt application process went really well at this stage :D

Judging by the current trend which method of application is taking the quickest time to obtain a passport - online application, normal postal application or check and send through a post office?

I had my citizenship ceremony last night and want to apply for a British passport using passport check and send. Is it worth me taking a photocopy of the citizenship certificate for my own records or is not necessary? Just out of interest is there a 100% certainty of a passport interview or are people randomly selected?

Best take a copy. There will definitely be an interview for a first adult passport application.
