I am looking forward to apply for my f Irst adult
Passport.
Could anyone pl kindly guide me about two things.

Is it necessary to complete parents section.

Second one is about sending passport.

They say the passport u entered uk.
That was long time. Ago can I send my present
Passport.

My time line seems similar to yours and i was really surprised. My documents were received at HMPO on 29/03 and status updated to "Processing", by 01/04 status was updated to Dispatched. I'm a little worried that it happened too quick!! My timeline so far:

I've been using the online tracker, but does anyone know if I can get a tracking number for the documents coming back? I am assuming they are on their way??

Hi Kahnzy
My last post here as deleted for some unknown reason. Perhaps only certain people can post comments or questions. Nevertheless I received my passport and all my original documents back in 2 separate envelopes from the courier. They do this for security reasons. There was no tracking number provided. From the day my status changed to dispatched was about a week before both envelopes arrived here in Canada. Hope this helps and you get to read this post. Thanks and good luck!!!

I did an enquiry on 02/04/16, and received an email to the effect that I had to book an appointment, I responded that I had already had my appointment, and then received a series of phone calls from HMPO, and it sounded as though my application was 'lost'. They said they would look into my application. After no further response, I called on 08/04/16, they 'could see my application, but it wasn't ready', when I asked if there was a problem, they said 'no, it just wasn't printed yet'. I then received the SMS on 09/04/16, so I hope I will have my passport by the end of the week. It's been a long journey!
