As I was moving house in few days after submitting my passport application online I have attached a cover letter when posted the relevant documents to explain I want my passport to be delivered at the new address.
On the 20th I have received a postal letter from the passport office at my new address where I had to confirm that I live there now and also to provide proof of any utility bills etc.
All my bills are online and I rarely get any statements in the post so I’ve only sent back the letter signed that I live at the new address already and I want my passport and documents to be delivered there.
On the 23rd when they received the letter back, passport office emailed me stating they have received the letter signed by me however they want post letters as proof of my new address also, I’ve emailed them back saying I don’t have any post letters and if It’s possible for me to email them proof of address, they emailed back and said they will accept them if I send it back by email so I did.
