Hi,

My child was born in the UK before my Citizenship Ceremony when I was on ILR.

However, I have now received my first British Passport.

* Would I still need to send my ILR BRP card in support of the child's Passport application (in addition to the Full Birth Certificate)?
Can I send the Home Office approval email for ILR instead of the original ILR BRP card?

* Should I provide my email address and phone number on my child's passport application in the Contact Details section?

* The application form asks for the Parents' UK Passport details if applicable. Should I supply the details as I now have the UK passport?

Please could the Moderators / Experts advise.

Many Thanks.

Can I send the Home Office approval email for ILR instead of the original ILR BRP card? Nope, physical evidence is required. Same way British parents of British children have to physically send either their passports or birth certificate to evidence citizenship.

* Should I provide my email address and phone number on my child's passport application in the Contact Details section? Yes, as I assume your child has none.

* The application form asks for the Parents' UK Passport details if applicable. Should I supply the details as I now have the UK passport? The answer is in the question, if applicable.

No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

Many Thanks.

Is there a Certificate Number on the Full Birth Certificate of the child that would need to be entered on the child Passport application? Also, is there an Issue Date as well on the Birth Certificate?

For my first adult passport, I had to enter my Naturalisation Certificate Number and Issue Date on the application.

Many Thanks.
