I applied on 19/6/2017. Awaiting the decision;update since 29/6/2017. It seems many JUNE APPLICATIONS are in the waiting status. Same boat!!! Not sure when DECIDED will come. This is a long wait!!

I applied on May 17th and the online status is still 'awaiting' but I'm taking it easy by setting my mind on something else (something more interesting, even if it's less important). Sometimes I feel my application is forgotten and is not with any case workers but I will just wait (that's all I can do) and I have stopped checking the online status everyday. I will worry about it and get angry when 6 months have passed.

Looks like HO is not smiling on May/June applicants, well God will smile on us. Best of luck to us.

I applied on 19.05.17 and waiting since last update on 02.06.2017. I sent an email to check for an update but got a general reply after a week saying we process applications on receipt date basis and once its decided case worker will contact. Great

This is so annoying...so much money spent and no updates since 17.05 apart from AWAITING DECISION status on 30.05. Looks like May applicants are here for a long wait, unless I'm really unlucky. I thought my application is straight forward. 10 years in the same Job, 13 years in UK, British Spouse. No Criminal records, No CCJs. What else do they need? I'm tempted to call and ask, but I know they will say if it has not been 6 moths then all I can do is WAIT WAIT WAIT.

The worst thing is that after 6 months has passed, they will say the same...zzzzzzzzzz

Even i applied on 18-May and i got BRP letter on 17 June.... which was really frustrating in first place...
but i received email confirmation on 22-May ...

already in 5th month

I emailed them on 20th Sept

this is what I got as a reply

''Thank you for your e-mail. All applications are dealt with in application receipt date order. As you application was received on 18th May 17, It will take a while longer for your application to be considered. Once your application is decided, you will be contacted by your caseworker.''

Applied on 15 may. Status awaiting 25 may. Still the same no update wt so ever. They have a copy paste reply emailed them twice. Wt kind of queue is this where a month late applicants are jumping.

Hello All,
I am new here, just registered, I wanted to share some good news with you all. I just got the letter by post now that says my British citizenship application is successful!!! I applied on 12 May and saw the status as Decided on 1 Oct and after 12 days, letter arrived. I now need to book within 21 days to take the oath then wait for the passport itself. I am checking status every 15 mins, so nothing changed on my case...

How long does it take to get the letter after the online status has changed to "Decided"?

My application status changed to Decided (updated on 25 Sep) and the website states the letter should arrive within 10 working days but it's been more than 10 working days now and still no letter.

They just provided me with an update that letter was sent on 3 Oct and will arrive 10 working days from that date. I have no idea what postal service they use which takes so long to deliver. Second class is 3-5 days...
