Child citizenship

Post by Winter20 » Fri Jan 03, 2020 9:54 pm

Hello,
I apologise if I am in the wrong page. I am looking for information regarding my sons citizenship and how to go for naturalisation. He was born here and will be 10 soon. Both parents are on 10 year route.

If anyone can share their similar experiences your help would be very much appreciated

Form T, read the ukvi links and ask if you have any questions. Presumably he has not had an absence of 90 days per year in the 10 years?

There was a court case about the fees for registering children as British citizens and the case went against the government.

However, it is likely that the government will appeal.

It is possible that the fees may change soon, though it is unclear when that will be.

Topics merged.

You were already advised last year that you can use form T.
