Choosing Council for Citizenship Ceremony during Naturalisation Application

Post by dbaz » Wed Jan 25, 2023 2:55 pm

Hi everyone,
I'm applying for naturalisation these days, and it seems there is an option to choose the council of choice for the citizenship ceremony during the application.

My local council, based on my address, is Newham in London,
but i wonder if it makes sense to choose another council for any reason,
or any reason to avoid it.

Has anybody tried it?

Thanks

You can choose any council you like the ceremony to be held & this is possible during filling up the application only but not after submission or approval.
