They sent me an email same day and now I have been booked in for ceremony via zoom on friday 12/03
Make sure your email is easily spelled otherwise if they make a typo email won't reach you and I doubt they call on the phone to chase it

From what I can see so far on this forum, seems like I will be waiting till the middle of the year before I hear anything about my invitation.
I just received my ceremony invitation today. I was approved 11 Dec 2020. Ceremony letter dated 24 Feb 2021
Congrats! I was also expecting mine in today's post but it hasn't arrived. So the wait is on for the next week

If you already got approval, what 'appointment for citizenship application' are you referring to make on a Sunday?
Councils aren't open on a Sunday, so no, it is unlikely you can book a ceremony for a Sunday/weekend.
