MN1 form submission date.

Post by Keith12 » Sun Dec 13, 2020 7:28 pm

Hi. I have a question ? I submitted online MN1 for my 2 year child and yet to book Biometric appointment.
1. Referee declaration sign date (07-12-20) is different from online sunmission date i.e 11-12-20. Is that going to be a problem.
2. First referee has to be a professional. Who has engaged with the child in a professional capacity such as teacher, health visitor , social worker or minister of religion , Now my confussion is. If i get a letter from my Gp with covering letter. Will it act like supporting document instead of first referee.

1) No

2) You need to provide referee details in the online form first before you get the referee declaration signed.

If you fail, also see:
For child applicants at least one of the referees must be a person who has dealt with the child in a professional role such as a teacher, doctor, health visitor or social worker. Where a child cannot provide a referee who has dealt with them in a professional capacity and has provided documents to show that they have attempted to do so, you can accept 2 referees who meet the criteria for referees on adult applications.

I do not have sight to the consent form. It should be self-explanatory though.

2. I have a supporting letter from GP which is more than 3 month. Will this be a problem if im submitting a letter which is 3 month old dated.

1) Leave it blank. It says where a child is making an application on his/her own behalf.

2) Should be okay.

Thanks...
One things confusing me please.my son is 2.
While filling up mn1 form it gave me 3 option.
1. I am the applicant
2.someone else
3 .Representative.

I selected as Iam the Applicant.. so still i need to leave last page blank ( child consent) without writing his name and my signature.
