Corby passport office delays

Post by Newbritish » Thu Mar 02, 2023 12:32 pm

Hi everyone,

Ive applied for first adult passport after naturalisation. Last week on 23rd.
Documents sent same day and received 24th of Feb at Corby.

Still have not gotten documents received update. can anyone share their experience with Corby office?

I do know passports can take up to 10 weeks officially but generally currently its around 2-3 weeks.

Just quite scared they have lost my documents etc. I really need my passport for ID purposes.

Please share your experience….Thanks!

There's currently a thread for passports. Why not follow that, instead of sorta trying to create another for Corby?
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

That thread is to post timeline only. Not to discuss. I wanted to discuss specifically corby and recent experiences regarding ‘document received’ status changes.

Thanks

Delays in updating status is not about Corby passport office, it's general. While your apprehension is understood, it may be undue.

I see. I was under the impression the Corby office was ran by Sopra Steria who validate,
scan documents and link them to your app, at which point status would be update. You are right, it is undue but I am generally an anxious person (never have good luck in regards to immigration) so even little status updates make me a lot of more relaxed and happy.

Anyway, appreciate the response.
