Do we get one or two tracking numbers from DHL

Hello

My passport application has been approved.

I’ve received a text message from DHL with the tracking number. I suspect this is for the passport itself, not the supporting documents.

Should I be receiving another tracking number for the supporting documents?

The reason I ask is that I’m travelling between Nov 20 and Dec 7, and the delivery is due on Nov 24. I can request DHL to hold the package up to 30 days which is great, but I haven’t received a tracking number for the supporting documents and that’s my main concern.

Just curious, travelling within the UK you mean. If outside, how do you plan to travel??

Passports and support documents aren't held on to, they are dropped in your letter box! On separate days if I might add.

Sorry I didn't clarify. This is for an overseas passport application that's why HMPO sending using DHL. I hold passport from another country that I can travel on.

Was wondering if anyone can advise. It’s been a week since I’ve received the tracking number from DHL for the passport but nothing yet for the supporting documents. Passport office didn’t have details other than it should be sent with DHL also.

They are delivered at different times and you have just got to exercise patience and give it time. ATBE, shall run smoothly for you.

Just if anyone is in the same situation, I did end up receiving two tracking numbers from DHL, one for the passport and other for the supporting documents. I was able to request delivery date after I've returned from vacation which was good.
Just a note that the DHL delivery driver left the packages outside my house door, eventhough HMPO specifically requested for signature. Luckly I picked them up straight away.
The supporting documents where also in a large do not bend enevlope so the supporting documents came back in good condition.

I noticed that the last page in the passport (emergency contact page) has a thin white film that can't be removed. Is this normal for these new passports?
