Driving points, fine from court...

Post by dj25000 » Wed Aug 20, 2014 11:27 am

HI,

First of all this site is ever to helpful for people like me with queries. I would like to thank everyone for their hard work.

I was applying for Naturalization in jan 2012 via settlement checking service when i was told that i will have to wait 5 years as i was had speeding ticket and fine that was given to to my by the court when i appealed. I had been waiting since then and was planning to apply for my Naturalization in dec'2014 as the 5 year wait will be over then.

Very recently someone told me that i dont have to wait that long and i called and UKVI to find out that i had to wait 3 years.

I had my PR in JAN'2011.

Please could someone confirm if i am eligible to apply for naturalization now and preferably with a reference document from UKVI ?

Best regards,
DJ

Yes, they're correct, it's 3 years.
