Hi guys

Previously the response from the home office was
“Thank you for your e-mail. All applications are dealt with in application receipt date order. As you application was received on 25th November 17, It will take a while longer for your application to be considered”

Now they emailed
“Thank you for your e-mail. Your application is now with a caseworker. You will be contacted in due course

Thank you“

Just so I understand from the speculations
Due course - means someone’s working on the application
21 days - means it’s decided and a letter has been sent out

All speculations.
Cheers

@yesplease

Can you please let us know when did you apply?
When did you send the first status check email to FMT? And how many emails have you sent after that on what dates?

Basically, I applied at the end of November via NCS. Sent email to FTM admin at the end of February, and received the "first come first served email" Planning to send for another email for a status update in March but don't want to annoy them asking too frequently.

Best,
eren

My answer was only mentioning that application were deal on a first come first served basis. No delay of contacting back or anything
After a second email, I know got the answer that my case was with a case worker.

Anyone has any feeling how long it takes on average once with a case worker?

From my experience reading posts from others, it means that the case has been decided. Fingers crossed you get a positive outcome real soon :)

Hi Guys,

I applied 3.5 months ago over 5 years + 1 year ILR.

I received the below email:

"Thank you for your e-mail. You will be contacted by post within 21 days.
Thank you
FMT
FMT Admin Support Nationality Group"

I am wondering as I have never seen the exact wording that I received. It doesn't say a decision has been made. Do you think in my case a decision has been made or will they ask for further information or something?

Please share your thoughts and experiences

I've emailed them so many times but they never reply to me!! Occasionally I'll get a letter in post with their generic response of 'pending good character checks, etc'. So frustating!! Waiting since August :(

This is the format they want the enquries in but everyone does it in different way so doesn't matter. As long as you include all the essential information.

Home Office/Case ID reference number(s)
Applicant's full name
Date of birth
Email address
Telephone number
Details of your nationality query?

Good luck!

Hi Everyone,
I just sent an e-mail to NationalitySupportTeamFMT@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk and requested an update because I need to request return of my wife passport if my application is not with a case worker.

I would like to know how long will it take that they reply my e-mail?
I applied in December.

They've always replied to me within a day. So by tomorrow I would say you should get an answer.

Got email today..
Thank you for your e-mail. All applications are dealt with in application receipt date order. As you application was received on 01st March 18, It will take a while longer for your application to be considered. Once your application is decided, you will be contacted by your caseworker.

I e-mailed them today at 11:20 and asked for update And asked that i would request the return of my wife original passprot if the decision take more than a month more.

I just got the following reply today( 15:46):

Thank you for your e-mail. All applications are dealt with in application receipt date order. As you application was received on 14th December 17, It will take a while longer for your application to be considered. Once your application is decided, you will be contacted by your caseworker. Your documents will normally remain on file, until this time. If however you require the return of you documents, you would need to complete the on online request and submit it on line to the address specified. You should also allow 10 working for this to happen. This can be done by going into Google and type in “return my documents” this will take you to the correct page.

FMT Admin Support Nationality Group

Now , I will request the return of my wife original passport and wait for a month more before i sent them another e-mail to ask for update.

For those of you that got the "21 days" email, how long after that email did your decision letter actually arrive?

I just got the "21 days" response today (yay!) and was interested in other people's experiences.
