Arranged to working from home today because of the excitement but the postman only delivered some rubbish mails. May be tomorrow

Today I received a letter from the council I had my NDRS appointment with but not from the council local to me.
They sent me a questionnaire to complete in order to prepare my ceremony invitation. In the letter they said that they have received the HO confirmation for my citizenship approval. In order to complete the questionnaire I need the HO approval letter which I am still waiting for. Council has informed me that I must bring the approval letter and the ceremony invitation once I received both. It looks like I am going to miss the public ceremony they are going to have on 13th Nov unless I receive HO letter by tomorrow!!

your decision has been made and my case isnt even under consideration lol..
, cz once assigned that person will be the one dealing with outcome ..I sent them two emails until now. i think every case deserves different level of checks/scrutiny , also depends on workload of the caseworker and if he/she taken holidays, cz once assigned that person will be the one dealing with outcome ..

Lovely people at the council informed me to complete the questionnaire as much as possible since I still don’t have the HO approval letter. They have scheduled the next public ceremony on 13th Nov and needed me to return the questionnaire before 8th if I want to attend on that day ceremony. Otherwise either I have to pay for a private ceremony or have to wait until December ceremony. So I sent the partially completed questionnaire yesterday along with a covering letter and today they rang me to inform that they have posted the invitation letter to me confirming my ceremony on 13th Nov. They said they can proceed with the ceremony without the approval letter as they already have necessary docs.
Earlier today I sent an email to HO explaining that I haven’t received the previously mentioned communication to date even though they said it has been posted few days prior to 1st Nov. So, I asked them to either email me or resend the letter in first class envelop. They replied to me quickly with the same wording + ‘This cannot be e-mailed to you’ (not very helpful!).

I received the approval letter from HO today.it's dated 25th Oct but received on 8th Nov! Cambs don't beat yourself up mate. You'll receive your one soon.
Aw sorry i am stupid: of course you mentioned that it was the council that you did your NDRS not your local one: i applied same time with you and also applied through different council for NDRS. Give a quick call to your local council and the NDRS council's register office. They might able to let you know whether they have anything related to you. I did - my local council said they didn’t have anything as of last week. i got three replies all saying different dates , as we recieved your app on 13th , one saying as we recieved your app on 17th , one even saying as we recieved your app on 28th , it will be a while longer ...
in reality i applied on 12/09 .. so there you go , the basic info given isnt correct. i guess they get many queries and they know people are impatient so they just copy some text and keep forwarding.
