This referee had given reference for 2 other people as well and got three calls in total for all 3 references. The referee told UKBA that he knew said people in said capacity. It might be an isolated incident or it might be that UKBA has increased the frequency of checks before the documents are handed over to a case-workers.

True Nazia

It's really sad that we have to restrict ourselves from discussing issues of mutual interest, which defeats the whole process of being on a forum. However there is nothing we can do apart from discussing on this wise thread.

Let's hope that we all start hearing quickly from HO

Hi Nazia, One query. Did you get another ack letter from them after paying over the telephone?
no i didnt recived any other letter but i have only record of debited of my account in my bank stetement what about you ?
No I didnt. But money has been taken from my account. When I called them to pay, he did say that my application will be sent to a case worker and it might take 8 to 10 weeks from then!

I really do not get what you all are on about. So you can't chit chat in between timelines posted. So what? You can still do that chit chat here and can still share how long you've been waiting, when you've called for updates etc? So the thread isn't a sticky...big deal. It literally takes a few seconds to scroll to it. People keeping posting in it and it's easy to find. Really, there's nothing to complain about and it's getting old seeing some people whinge about it. Just be glad you do have a thread to post in and can share your worries and anxieties whilst waiting.

SO bored of waiting! I applied on 18th April and it is so frustrating to see May and June applicants getting approvals - sorry, I'm just a LITTLE jealous!

I also know 2 different people that applied in March who are still waiting. Annoying times!

that's right we have at least this thread where to share our worries as you said and i find it useful in a way while waiting
its not a sticky but still applicant post their questions or experience almost every day and i think the problem its not this is not sticky or it's not like the previous timeline one but the poeple or applicants who were posting in the timeline are moved a step foward after getting their approvals and we hardly see them here that's why there less and less paricipation in this thread

Slightly, I fully appreciate your feelings. It must be annoying for you when people who applied in May/June are getting approvals. Keep faith, you will be hearing from them soon

1664, great news.

Our timelines were similar. Let's hope that the result is positive and we receive the envelope quickly.
