Hello members

Today I recieved email from MMST FCTCallnote
I dont know who they are I didn't ask for any update from them and here is they send to me today .

We aim to process all applications within 6 months from the date submitted. However, in certain circumstances this target is not possible. Following our assessment of your case, unfortunately it appears your application will not be processed within the 6 month target. We expect to make a decision on your application as soon as possible, but we will write to you again if this is not going to be possible.

Yours sincerely

The message is from the citizenship team and it means your application will take more than the 6 months service standard by the HomeOffice. They are probably doing some checks and this is being delayed by the third party carrying out the checks. It is nothing to be worried about as a lot of people have gone on to get their approvals well after the 6 months service standard. All the best.

2 Hours ago I got the same email. I think when the caseworker can not reach a decision, it will be handed to a senior immigration officer.
as on the bottom of email says it comes from a different branch (managed migration support team)

Simply resign and redate what they sent you and send it back, as the email clearly explains.

You need to date it today or whenever you resign. You have not stated when you applied (date) or what date HO believes you were not in the UK.

If you were present in the UK 5 years ago today, then date and sign with today's date and send it back to HO.

I received the "you'll be contacted by post within 21 working days" email 2 weeks back, and by going by the general consensus this good news.

I'm impatient, so my question is if its worth contact my council to check if they have received my certificate and whether I can do ceremony before receiving the letter from the home office??

I call my council today, said they haven't got my certificate yet... Hour later, I get the magical brown envelope through the post!

Hi there, did you leave the UK on 7th of April? Because I asked them about my case before applying and they told me that it was ok to apply on the day you leave/enter the UK

Hi all, I have finally received a decision I’ve been waiting for and which ends a stressful journey.
I applied as a refugees for my BC in mid Oct 19 and received a decision that my app has been successful today.
The whole process took 6 weeks.
Good luck to everyone 🥳

I thought that my application might take a while based on some chatter here that refugees applications are put at the end of the queue, but based on my situation, I think the HO don’t differentiate between application types!

It might’ve helped that I was very transparent with the HO through a cover letter that I mentioned every single detail in such as 1 parking fine I receive many years ago.

I will post a more detailed tome table on the other page.

Date of application: 08/02/2019
Date Biometrics enrolled: 15/02/2019 UKVCAS new service appointment
Date on Approval letter: waiting

when the application was over 5 months i sent an email for an update only get the one most of us getting: (All applications are dealt with in application receipt date order. As you application was received on 8th February 19, It will take a while longer for your application to be considered. Once your application is decided, you will be contacted by your caseworker.)
and few days after got a letter explaining that the checking process is not yet completed.

now is nearly 10 months and the same response the check is not yet completed last letter was on 18/11/2019.

Zeebro,
I’ve received exact same message today. I applied 4.5 months ago on 21 jul. No criminal history, offence, or any other issues. Only thing is that I have not provided old passports as lost two travel documents before. So my travel history that I’ve provided on the form may not be accurate due not having my passports.

I’ll apply for subject access by which means I’ll get all my travel history for last 5 years and should be able to provide to them the correct dates.

I still hope that they can make a decision soon within 6 months timeframe.

Hi everyone, hoping someone can help me. I submitted my online application for naturalisation today and have my appointment for biometrics and the online docs upload on Monday 9th December. Does HO consider the application date as today 4th December or Monday 9th when I submit my biometrics? Thanks
