Update

I called up today to my local council and asked them if they have received my certificate and they confirmed they have got my certificate!
Now I’m waiting for my approval letter!
Hi Sam86,
Many congratulations. I applied in april and round about your timeline. How do you contact council? I live in Leicester and when i call Leicester council for citizenship service it goes "book online" and no facility to speak to someone. Any suggestions from anyone who has similar council policy etc?
Many thanks

Many congratulations. Happy for you :) i applied 16th april so almost same time frame as yours. Hot an email last week from caseworker asking copy of my degree. They recieved UK Naric certificates but not degree. I sent it through email within an hoir of recieving the email. Im hoping i will hear good news soon IA. But How long it can take once its with case worker and they ask additional document?
Thx
Thank you dear.i hope this week before friday you will get approval when I recieved email my case is with caseworker after 5 days I got approval and invitation from council it's not taking long may days or week .congrats in advance
Hi Zee,
So like you said i got my approval letter on friday. I have a question for the next step.
1- i am not able to book ceremony online for some reason. It says we dont have your details yet. Im applying leicester registry office. I am thinking to go in person on monday. No facility to call for citizenship ceremony either.
2. What passport you going to present for british passport application as a refugee? Cos for refugess we have only travel document and original country passports are with home office. They have clearly asked for "passport you travelled to this country" .
Anyone with travel document and applied for british passport - what did you present with application?

Urgent query

A few days back I applied for British Citizenship via naturalisation route using their online application form. I entered all details correctly as far as I knew and paid the fees of 1349.20£. You are not allowed to make any changes in the form once fees are paid. After payment of fees I realised to my horror I had incorrectly entered the date of births of one of the referees. It was with year of birth. Instead of 1975 I entered 1974. I am yet to have my fingerprints enrolled for biometrics and go to sopra steria for submitting my documents. Neither have I uploaded any documents to sopra steria website. Can anyone tell me what email id i need to contact to get this errror rectified? Will they accept any requests in regard to this? what are my chances? any replies highly appreciated as I am very worried

Hello bro I applied my passport yesterday I applied through postoffice actually I tried online but there I was confused about travel documents but when I checked by post and someone in post office she guide me I gave travel documents details in passport section and send my travel documents with that so no need to worry because travel document is same like passport there is no any section separately for travel documents and online I dont know there is they asking foreign passport

You can try and ask but generally they just send out a standard email, unless they have a specific question for you.
Sympathise, but UKVI are not known to keep you informed about progress .... though it seems some members who had the "21 days" email get their decision soon after. Bear in mind there will be delays due to the holidays.

At least your application is with a case worker so it is being looked at. Give it time and be patient.

Hello everyone.
I sent an email lastSunday to provide an update. received today an email from totally different email address from MMST FCT Callnotes

The reply is :

Thank you for your email.

I can confirm that you have successfully enrolled your biometrics.

Your application will now continue to progress until a decision is made.

We will contact you if we require any further information from you throughout the course of the application process. Please note; we will not contact you to provide regular updates and cannot provide a definitive application processing timescale.

I suspect that nothing had been even moved since I submitted the biometrics in September. Any ideas?

Thank you.
Its mean soon you will receive your approval

@Zeebro44 how do you know this is the case? I submitted my application late November and this is the only update I’ve received so far. Does this typically imply the application is now with a caseworker for consideration?
