How much refunded if citizenship registration unsuccessful?

Post by greendaze5 » Thu Jun 03, 2010 11:46 pm

Let’s say its costs £500 (ouch! :x ) to register as a British citizen.

But if my application is denied  , how much of a refund is sent back to me (after the obligatory processing fee is charged)?

Thanks!

If you are talking about registration then none will be refunded. If you are talking about naturalisation then the cost of the cermony will be refunded (use to be £80, though might have increased).

You're right. It increases by the minute...I'd get it done before the fee goes up again!
