Wait is really testing my patience. Any idea why it is taking too long, is anyone waiting with the same timeline?

Yestarday I received a phone call with no number, normally I don't pick up but yesterday I just did it. It was from Home Office and the lady asked what was my name at birth time and what's my name today. After given the answers she said that this was all she wanted to know and hung out. I'm more concerned then before why would they Call and asked that when I send all documents to support my change of name.

If I'm honest their updates are pathetic, it will either be your case is complicated so it will be longer or your application would be completed within 6months, just like any organisation in uk staff members will need to take thier holidays or they loose it, im sure they struggling with staff and instead of being honest about it they will just send you anything to keep you of thier back. The rule is still the rule with them, be prepared to wait 6 or get nothing, not even a reasonable update. It's almost like they have templates they send to people when they get an update request that is within the 6months period.

6 months will be exceed on 13th january 2016 and still no decision by home office that they say to conclude the cases in 6 months of %95 applicants.really funny.i dont deserve %5 part which is my case is clear i definetly believe.
