Hi All,

I have received the acknowledgement letter yesterday, the letter says they have received the following documents,

1. Photo-copied documents
2. Application form -1
3. Supporting documents -1

I have submitted my original life in UK test certificate but it has not been mentioned in the letter.
Can someone let me know if this is the case for you as well?

Please note, I have submitted my application via NCS.

Received the acknowledgement letter.
I expected to receive the Biometrics letter too with the acknowledgement letter. But I didn't.

I suppose the acknowledgement and biometrics requests are handled by 2 separate teams.
I anticipate I'll receive it in the coming days.

Received biometrics request in post 2 days after receiving acknowledgement letter (even though both were dated on the 24-04-2015).

I expected to receive the Biometrics letter too with the acknowledgement letter. But I didn't.

Cool. I did through NCS on 23rd, and no acknowledgement yet nor money has gone from my CC. I was on Tier1 5 years + ILR. Not more than 225 days leave in 6 years!!!

My understanding is that in this forum date of receipt is the day UKBA receives the application in the post.
NCS should have provided you with a Royal Mail tracking number- this should confirm when the application has been delivered by post.

Mine took about 9 days before my CC was charged the application fee.
I applioed through NCS on 11-Jul, they sent the application on 14-JUL, and UKBA received it in the post on 15-JUL. Payment came out of CC on 24-JUL.

My Acknowledgement and Biometrics letter came in advanced second class mail and dropped in the mail box while I was at work. So the answer is no.

I assume it will be similar for approval letter as well? Senior members can shed some light on it.
