Please help if you can
I brought my wife over from morocco nearly 6 years ago, my wife has Indefinate leave to remain which she has had for about 4 years and would now like to apply for citizenship, the only issue I'm coming across is the life in the UK test I wanted to check if her qualifications that where submitted and accepted when she applied for her Indefinate can be used for her citizenship application as I've been advised by some that they can be used and others have advised that she nay need to sit the life in the UK test as the law changed in 2013.
My wife has confirmation of achieving a certificate in ESOL skills for life Entry Level 3 which was delivered within a citizenship context by a registered qualified teacher and used materials delivered from "The citizenship for ESOL Learners" pack produced for the Home Office by NIACE and LLU+
My wife also has the following qualifications also awarded by The City & guilds of London institute
02 March 2011
City & Guilds Entry level 3 ESOL Skills for Life speaking and listening (South Birmingham College)
22 Sept 2011
Entry level 3 Adult literacy, speaking and listening
Adult literacy, Reading Entry level 3
Adult literacy, Writing entry level 3 (South Birmingham college)
02 Sept 2013
City & Guilds Functional English and Writing Entry level 2
Functional English speaking, Listening and communication at entry level 2
Functional skills qualification in English at entry 2 (Birmingham Metropolitan College)
If you can be so kind to help answer my question which is are these good enough to apply for citizenship or would she also need to sit the Life in the uk test aswell.
