Mistake in UK passport application

Post by ksrangal » Wed Mar 17, 2021 9:46 pm

I filled my daughter's UK passport application, submitted and paid £54 fee.
Then I realised that there was a spelling mistake in her mother's name.

I still need to send documents.

Is it possible to correct this mistake ?
Can I withdraw my application ( possibly get refund ?) and submit new application ?

Please advice.

Off the back of this - I would like to check all the details on my application after I submitted it. Is that possible?

Yes. I sent my Wife's BRP card and a letter mentioning the problem.
My daughter got her passport. You now what passport does not have parents name written on it. So I guess it was not a big deal.

But passport office misplaced my wife's BRP card and we never received it back. Now we have applied for BRP replacement and waiting for it from past 2 months.

:-(
