Mn1,no acknowledgement and no fees taken

Post by savane2 » Tue Feb 15, 2022 2:16 pm

Hi Everyone,

We have applied our 1 year old daughter's MN1 form under section 1(3) as she was born in the UK on January 24th 2022 by post, according to the tracking number, the home office received it on the 25th of January 2022
Up to today 15th February 2022,we have not got a sign from the Home Office,no acknowledgement received and the fee has not been taken out.
We emailed the home office and didn t get an answer.according to many posts on here, many people get an acknowledgement and fees taken within 2 weeks of the application.
im beginning to get worried.

Is there anyone who went through a similar case?
Many thanks

Simpler to apply online as then no original documents are sent and you would have booked a biometric appointment as part of the process

Postal it can take a few weeks for payment and biometric letter etc as I believe parts of UKVI staff are still WFH.

Mn1 biometric

Post by savane2 » Fri Mar 25, 2022 1:43 pm

Hi everyone.
It s been 2 months that we applied for my child mn1 under section 1(3),the child just turn 1 year old.
Her dad applied by post 2 months ago,the payment was taken after a month of applying and the acknowledgement letter was sent 3 days after the payment.
It s now been a month we have got the acknowledgement letter and we still haven t got the biometric letter.this is really stressing.

Is there anyone in the similar situation?
please share it to give me some hopes.

Thank you
