Comgrats on your Success but i dont understand why few people getting in 14 days after payment while for few it taking whole month of time just to check one or two pieces of documents...don't know whats happening...

Anyways my appl fees was taken on 22nd oct not so long ago and wait continues...

Can we ask to return passport and BRP cards submitted to travel to India without withdrawing application?

Congrats surprisingly quick?...my MN1 section 1(3) still in wait fee was debited on 22nd October I Wonder why it still awaiting? does it depend on councils confirmation of Full birth ceritificate? or originl nationality?

I am not sure what happened myself. They took ages to deduct the money.. almost three weeks and then everything else happened within the next week. All in all I have recieved the approval within one month of applying and I did not use the National Checking Service. Let's see how long the wait for the registration certificate is now..

Is it normal as fee deducted on 24/10 but even didn't received any acknowledgement upto now and its over a month I applied for my kids...any idea about how long it can take or its all normal?

All your details match exactly the same dates as my sons application. I guess will get the same reply as you from UKBA hence did not bother sending an email. Thank you for updating. Please keep us posted. Am not in a hurry to get a passport though.

does this mean your childs application is now on the system?

We are on the same boat. I too applied on October 21st by Royal Mail (did not use NCS) for registration as a BC for my 4 year old daughter and so far neither money has been debited nor acknowledgement letter been sent.

I have emailed the HO twice and they sent me a standard reply that they sent to everyone saying that it should take between 4 and 6 weeks, etc etc to get an acknowledgement letter.

Did you use the NCS?
