This services is only available through few nominated councils in these days.

Can joint Naturalisation & Passport applicants please share approximately how long it took after the Ceremony to receive their passport. My ceremony is scheduled for May 10th and we wanted to book a holiday for the 1st of June but not sure I will receive the passport on time. Can members please share their experience, thanks..

I have applied for JCAP on 29th Mar, and had the fee deducted on 20th Apr but still haven't received any acknowledgement letter/ biometric letter! Anyone had similar issues where its been almost 2 weeks to receive any correspondence from HO?

I think your letter has gone missing.if i were you, i will email the home office on this. I received mine three days after fees deduction. These letters are issued by second class and no guarantees with the service

I am at work at the moment but i think the best one would be the one on the biometric enrollment letter. I will post it when i get home as your issue relates to not receiving the biometric letter. Perhaps one of the members here can help you with the email address or try the Home Office website.

My Passport took roughly 10-11 Working days after I attended the ceremony .
Time line as follows:

Eligibility criteria: 5 years residence + 1 year ILR
Language criteria met: UK NARIC assessment and Degree Certificate
Nationality: Indian
Method of application: NCS - WandsWorth ( Combined AN+ Passport)
Date of application: 25/01/2016
Payment method: Debit Card
Date of receipt by UKBA: 27/01/2016-Royal Mail special delivery has been delivered to the Liverpool UKVI Office
Date of acknowledgement: 09/02/2016 dated 05/02/2016
Date money gone off account: 05/02/2016
Date of letter requesting biometrics: 09/02/2016 dated 05/02/2016
Biometrics done: 11/02/2016
Date of approval: 12/03/2016 recieved the letter on 21/03/2016
Date of ceremony: 23/03/2016
Date applied for passports: 25/01/2016
Date SMS received:07/04/2016
Date passports received: 08/04/2016

I am sorry but disagree. HO send acknowledgement and biometric letters in the same post. Don't panic, you have only applied on 29th March. Useless to contact HO at this point. You will have yours soon.

I did call up the council and they also said the average time was about two weeks. I guess I will plan my trip and keep my fingers crossed, thanks..

Just checked my credit card and looks like the passport fees has been deducted today! But still nothing received for acknowledgment/biometric! I have emailed HO, hopefully I'll hear from them soon

I have a query on Citizenship ceremonies - How much additional does a private ceremony cost? and am I allowed to take as many guests as I wish? Obviously a reasonable number like 5-6 as opposed to 2 in Council Public ceremonies?

for the joint application we need to submit 3 photos . trafford council states that i dont need to ceritfy the photos but they should be same for both applications. so it means refree only need to sign the forms MN1 for child and form AN for adults without signing any photos?
