I applied for citizenship in May 2019 and got refusal because of a 3 months overstay in 2012. The home office suggested applying again in January 2023 to clear 10 years of history. I also forget to upload my reference letters online and at the time of biometrics. However, I sent both letters by e-mail and the home office did not reply. They send an approval e-mail today. [Update: Recieved an email from Home Office on 20th April 2023 stating that my wife's name on Marriage Certificate is different to what is written on the application form (Surname different before marriage) and they wanted my wife to confirm her name (Forename and Surname) before marriage by replying to the email. We have now replied to that email and awaiting response from home office]

Other Updates: It has been more than 18 months. No update. Sent many emails, spoke to MP aswell. She wasn't helpful at all. Not even a little bit. My solicitor done 2 preaction protocols aswell. All HO saying application was granted in early 2022, but coz of system error certificate wasnt produce and now HO is doing checks again since last 10/11 months. Dont know what else to do.
No criminal, traffic or any immigration breaches or offences ever.
