Just received email from MMST Workflow saying our application will take longer than 6 months with note including:

The progress of outstanding enquiries is regularly monitored with the agencies carrying out these enquiries on our behalf. It is only when we have the results of the enquiries that we can reach a decision on whether citizenship should be granted. We do not, ourselves, carry out these checks and we cannot, therefore, be sure how long they will take in each case.

Over two years of wait finally came to an end today. We had written to home office around 10 times, spoke to MP twice and tried SAR as well a year ago. We had lost all hope. But somehow got approval today not sure what changed, probably our luck.
All the best to all waiting. Having been through this awful process, I think everyone take hope that it will happen.

The dates in the naturalisation certificate are around 15/03/2024.

I've applied with my wife as a citizen of BC (was not BC yet) and 2 kids (ILR based on dependent visa for 5 years). The kids got accepted but my wife application got rejected on the 20/03/2024. As I am not a BC yet. We are applying for her again now and attaching my naturalisation certificate.

I received an email from Leeds City Council informing me that my ceremony has been booked in June. I assume the approval email will come on Monday. Five months in total (could have been those two speeding tickets I had from a few months ago...)
