What is your nationality?

Are you claiming any benefit?[/quote] the person who has ILR is allowed to claim benifits if they are out of work and claiming benifit has no effect on naturalisation application. so please dont try to put doubt in peoples mind. i think you should consantrate on making coments on football christianoronaldo

Same for me still waiting.

I am Turkish by the way (people keep asking about nationalities). Obtained my ILR for 5yrs continous employment.

Have a bit higher than allowed absences due to my travel (work for an int'l bank). Both my past 5 years and 12 months are in excess of allowed limits (c. 500 and 120). I got a letter from my employer to confirm my business travel and also showed my mortgage documents to prove my permanent establishment...Not sure if I should be worried or not...

British citenzen update

Post by 23girl » Tue Jul 23, 2013 8:26 am

Eligibility Criteria:
Method Of Application: wandsworth checking service
Date Of Application: 19/4/2013
Date Of Receipt By UKBA: 23/04/2013
Date Of Debit Of Fees: 25/4/2013
Date Of Receipt Of Acknowledgement: 29/4/2013
Date Of Receipt Of Approval: 15/5/2013
Date Of Ceremony: 24/7/2013
notice it took 2 months for me to get a cermoney date, this is because the home office never sent me a approval letter, I have been waiting for the approval letter for 3 months, in the end I recived a letter from wandsworth council on the 15th July stating that I need to book a citizenship ceremony before 15/08/2013. I was puzzled when I recived this letter has I havnt had any previous correspondence with the home office. The letter also stated that failure to make a ceremony appointment before 15/8/2013 would lead me to have to re apply! I therefore called wandsworth council and was told my certificate has been sitting in their office for the last 2 months n I had 4 weeks left to book a ceremony and by law they had to contact me to let me know that I had one month left to do so. I have spoken to the home office regarding the matter and not reciving the letter, they told me sometimes they can send the certificate to the point of where u made the original application. The unconvince this has caused me has been totally irrelevant. My application only took 3 weeks and I been waiting for nearly 3 months. All the people who has been waiting since April please call your local authority if u sent the application through them and double check they don't have ur certificate, all the others who sent their application indepertendently, please call/email home office. Ps: even begin told a new letter will be sent out it still havnt been recived and trust me I looked everyday for the brown letter since I recived the acknowledgement letter. Hope this helps someone.

I am an Indian national and my travel days are also higher than the allowed number of days. this makes our applications to be considered and approved at discretion of the Secretary of State. I have read in this blog below that the decision for such cases is currently 2 months approx. from the date of application. We should wait another 2-3 weeks for our responses to be received by post.

Sent an email to ¬HO on Friday 19th july, received a reply this morning stated:
Thank you for your email. I have checked our records and can confirm that no decision has yet been made yet on your application and no letters have yet been sent to you.

I cannot give a date by which this application will be resolved, nor can I provide details of the reason(s) why the case is taking this long.
When the decision is made, or if we require further information from you, we will contact you in writing, for this reason please make sure you notify us promptly if you change your address. Your address can be updated here......................

UPDATE :
Received my approval today.
I am from High Risk country. It took five week for decision.

I am very happy and thankful to GOD.
Good luck to all. keep faith. you will have your approval very soon.
@ Budmash you will get it soon keep it up.
Mods here should consider banning Astrid24. This thread is for timeline and he keep posting his nonsense all over the forum.

HIGH RISK COUNTRY THEORY did not work in my case. I have all kind of problems (unpaid council tax bills, debt collectors, parking fines. etc). I suppose its UK life.

i am employed and self employed as well. I did not ticked self employed box in form. and I have underpaid PAYE (tax on employment) bill outstanding.

Haha. Mods should condsider banning me why? Because I have my own opinions and I say them and you don't like what I say? Don't be ridiculous. It's a board. I can say whatever I want to as long as I'm not being rude to anyone and as far as I can see I have not been rude. And what nonsense have I been posting all over the forum? I've actually helped a lot of people. I've never read such rubbish.

As I've said before, people are all adults on this board yet they seem to be so over sensitive. If you don't like what I post then just ignore my post. It's not difficult to do if you're an adult. Instead you start whining like a child and asking mods to ban me. Grow up.

This thread is for time line only and you have some inferiority complex which need to be addressed by some professional.

You're not very clever are you. This thread is for timelines but YOU keep writing things in here other than timelines. I should be banned for something that you yourself are doing? Haha. YOU wrote something first, which was not just a timeline, and that made me respond. And great, continue to ignore me. Just don't point out my name in your pathetic ramblings. Like I said, GROW UP. Cheers!

Pending internal enquiries

Post by Alsuwaidi » Wed Jul 24, 2013 2:35 pm

Hello dear friends.

I applied for nationality end of June. 28th June and money was taken early July. I am spouse + ILR.

Spoke to home office this afternoon and they told me my application is "Pending internal enquiries" does that mean its with the caseworker? Anyone has a clue how long is the further wait from this point?

I appreciate your time and response.

Thank you

Yes there is.

If you have applied via NCS they give a contact number on that which you can call and an email address to which you can email. This will be on the application received and checked paper that NCS give. Will see if I can dig out the number for you.

There is also this web page - http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/about ... tionality/

Please do have a read and act accordingly.

Alsuwaidi, this just means either
1. That they are still processing your application and need to make more checks and enquires to ascertain few things on your case.
OR
2. That they forgot about your application which went to the bottom of the pile and because you raised a concern, they have now pulled it out and act on it.

Hope this helps.
