This little table might be of interest. (Apologies for the crappy formatting)

PERIOD = Blocks of 15 days
APPs = Applications that we have been notified of through this forum thus far.
APPROVED = Percentage of these applications that posters have informed us have been approved (rounded to nearest full percent)

PERIOD APPS (APPROVED)
Aug 27-Sept 10 = 47 (89%)
Sept 11-25 = 44 (95%)
Sept 26-Oct 10 = 84 (46%)
Oct 11-25 = 97 (14%)
Oct 26-Nov 9 = 12 (0%)
Nov 10-24 = 9 (0%)

I admit this is biased towards capturing where the rush suddenly stopped, but all the same, it gives an idea of the scale. Feel free to keep checking back on this as I'll keep editing it.

Thanks belkhir. Yes, you see the effect of the rule change to the KOLL requirement from October 28th.

Re: your own timeline, do you know if the UKBA received your application yet? Did the solicitor give you a post tracking number for it? If not, I guess the first you'll know is when the fees come out. There is a separate topic for November timelines as well, so please post your timeline there as well.

I am a bit concerned that it has now been 8 weeks and the money was deducted on the 10th of October and I have not heard anything yet. Is this unusual ? I had emailed the Nationality email address and they told me that no decision has yet been made.

Dont worry its only 6 weeks. Applications can take time

Has anybody noticed that the last date for debit of fees is 22/10/13

Nothing from the 23/10/13 they seem to have stopped debiting fees from this date since last friday.

I'm really worried now it has been more than 4 weeks as promised by UKBA

Hi

I am afraid your count will start from day of payment so there will be delay. it seems you did not give correct info on payment with application so it failed.

as for the address send it to the acknoledgment letter address and put on it the reference they used on the acknowlegment letter. (however if there is a phone number on the letter call it to double check)

good luck

Yes I posted my application on 18/09

Something really strange is happening. I received email reply from Nationality Help desk saying decision has been made on my application, when I called the Home office number and asked for update the adviser said no decision has been made and the application is still in progress. Don't know whom to believe?
Hi Kibria,
the Nationality Help desk, the actual ones dealing with ur case and then upload the decision on the system for advisers to see. so hopefully from the posts I have been reading you get a letter 2 days after an email.
so good luck and wish all the best !!
Hi Guys

Received letter from HO saying that the application has been successful and I should receive the invitation to attend the ceremony soon. Yeahee!

Do you know how long does it take to receive the invitation letter after the approval letter has arrived?

QUESTION: I have just confirmed it today through email from help desk and by call from NCS that a decision has been made, But results are not disclosed yet.
NCS said they will post a letter today.
My question is does the NCS post a letter in both scenarios or just if an applicant is successful????
Thanks for your help!!
Thank you all for your help. My application is approved !

Thanks for your response - I know it has not been very long but I mean I have seen applications returned successfully with approvals inside 8 weeks. How can I know how long this will take ? I am getting concerned about the winter break and then there being a very long gap...

I am very upset and sad about the fact that if the Home Office recieved my application on the 30th of September they should really have replied to me by now - my application fee was deducted on the 11th of October so it has been a while since - with this impending/looming holiday break coming I fear it will then only be in the new year. Realistically there are just 3 weeks left in this year for any work to be done.

For the period Sept 26th-30th I've found 13 applications in this forum that were received by the UKBA in those dates. Of those only six have been decided so far - that we know of.

We have record of applications from Dhakavillage1, rana12570, ultimate12570, marxoo, BUCKS13, daydreamer1, anna.winter, akhan25, Anuprajmane and syedraza. All received by the UKBA between Sept 26th and Oct 1st and all, as far as we know, still waiting. So shahjee09 you are not alone. You might want to start up a topic with some of these posters to keep each other up to date.

Looking at the trend for October applications it seems it's taking UKBA 1month to process payment...
