Eligibility criteria: 5years Tier 1+1 year ILR
Method of application: NCS Wolves, 2nd December
Language Critieria: UK Degree
Date of receipt by UKBA: 03/12/2013
Date of debit of fees: 13/01/2014
Date of receipt of acknowledgement: 16/01/2014
Date of receipt of approval: 19/02/2014
Date of Ceremony:21/02/2014

Thanks to the group.

The most ridiculous thing was that my name is spelt wrongly and I had to contact UK BA to get the right certificate. This will take a bit more time and that's the reason I had to go for private ceremony!

However, the good news is that for my wife we got the approval even without MEETING THE NEW LANGUAGE CRITERIA (C1 BEFR). This is a bonus. We were just beginning to get worried that we should have got UK NARIC letter, but this is not required now.

Private ceremonies can happen just the next day! But general ones take almost 4 weeks to book one.

Similar situation to mine. Applied in early December. No response yet. Was your case complex?

We are in the same situation. I applied on the 14th/11/2013 money taken on the 13/01/2014 with acknowledgment few days later. Ever since then, nothing has happened. I called Monday last last and was told that is been dealt with. I called today as well and was told that the application is incomplete. I am now worried because January 2014 applications are now coming through while mine is still hanging.

The letter says you have 21 days from the date of the letter to book your ceremony in. Your ceremony will be normally 4 weeks time or depends on the rush!

Hi itsahmedawan
No its not true that you have to keep ILR for full 1 year. Condition is that you have lived in england for 3 years n completed your 2 years spouse which u must hav before applying ILR
