Hi finally got some news from 0300 number. they said its decision made and its been sent on 6th May.
Just worried do they refuse cases too without any further information or it will be good news lets hope so.

In my case council letter got to me before the HO brown envelope. I am still waiting on it. The council is notified before you are so u could give them a call saying u got an email from home office confirming you been approved and you want to book a ceremony and see what they say.

I don't think it's likely to be an outright refusal. You can call or email the council, but why not wait a few days before that? What if they mail to the council 2nd class too?

I don't think it's likely to be an outright refusal. You can call or email the council, but why not wait a few days before that? What if they mail to the council 2nd class too?

hi, i applied on 10/03/14, i called home office today and got the same reply, that decision is make yesterday and i will get letter after few days, i try to call my council too, but i on Wednesday it get close earlier at 13:00, if your council is open call them and ask them if they got any update or not, i will call tomorrow and let you know, why u think you can be refused? why you not think it a good news, when did you apply? and how?

Please some one tell me how can I contact home office by phone I try 0300 many time for hours I cant get through any other idea to remind evry one I was sent my application on 01.02.2013 still waiting I try many way to get answer no work at all.

Same 0300 123 2253 number. I called for days but didn't get an answer until one day I tried and it rang and someone answered. Just have to try your luck until you succeed.

to call HO 0300 , u need to try try again, some time u need to try more then 500 times in a day to make one phone call to HO, yesterday i called a bout 10:00 and today i start calling from 9:00 up to 11:30. nearly i tried 370 calls to make one call.

In the evenings when they almost closed for the day I find is the best time to call.

WENT TO COUNCIL TODAY

finally good news they have my citizenship certificate . What a relief . It was 45 days turn arround.
Lady at council is now saying I have to wait for ukba letter to book a private ceremony as according to them its a must have document for ceremony.

Update 09 May: called the helpline and they confirmed the decision was made on March 26th, but I have still not received any letters. They will reissue the decision and mail it to me.
