Got home today and to my surprise brown envelope was sitting my mailbox. Unbelieveable!!!! only 14 days it took to process.
Just want to say this board has been amazing and a great help on my journey. Too all those still waiting, stay strong and God willing you will succeed soon.

By the way, I'm curious that you were on HSMP for 5 years. Surely it would have switched to Tier-1 General towards the end?

hey happyguy,

I have actually been here 10 years (2 weeks time is my anniversary). I was midway through the HSMP when it changed to TIER1, and I have ILR for about 2 years 10 months. I should have done the naturalisation a while ago, but have been procrastinating mostly due to hectic work commitments. But I am glad its all finally over now!

I'm not sure which angel has been on my side but im surely going to thank them all

Last time when i enter UK via Heathrow Terminal 5 Passport got stamped with date one month in past.
I wrote covering letter explaining this to Immigration Officer along with email copy of British Airway tickets.

I was scared this date issue many not be a blocker.

Query:
I applied for spouse visa from india and still waiting.
It has been 37 working day , SLA for settlement visa 60 working day/
My question is If I go ahead for ceremony ,will wife settlement visa process will be impacted.
Or i should wait for wife visa to get processed.

Not much left to do now;

wait for ceremony invitation letter from the council or you give them call to find out if they already have you on their list, and book the suitable/available date to attend the ceremony.

i applied on 17th dec last year and still waiting for approval, yes it is frustrating to see results coming in 2 weeks but they are more luckiest people than me and i am happy for them. same here my application is also straight forward and one more thing i want to share that these all checks they already done one year ago with my ILR application they took 3 months for all their verifications, now after one year i don't think they doing same verifications again . Any way be optimistic and get ready for good news any day.
