Maybe. Just try. If they asked you about it tell them the reason.

How about the part that they debited the ceremony fee, the invitation for biometrics?

Haha sorry I forgot about the biometrics. Yes they sent me a letter then I go straight to vfs global UK in makati. You dont need an appointment just bring the letter they sent you. About the ceremony fee i didnt receive any receipt from them. I saw on my credit card billing statement that they taken it after a week or two.

Hi all, I am currently applying for UK citizenship using the UKF form, and I am a bit unsure about the fees. Could I get the total needed to pay and also a breakdown if possible.

Cheers thanks.

@Inzhagi03

You should be able to download the ukf guide, there enlist the breakdown and additional information you need regarding how atart the form etc.

The ceremony fee is 80 pounds.

Regards

@pinoy_possum.

Thanks for the advice. Just to confirm, the 1163 registration fee does not apply to this form?

Can anyone confirm if the only fee to pay for UKF is the £80 for the ceremony?

@pinoy_possum
Hey!
Yes, the dates in this time line are give or take but I took pictures along the journey which are timestamped, so it isn't too inaccurate:
Sent away form: 18th October 2016
Confirmation email from HO: 1st November 2016
Ceremony fee taken: 4th November 2016
Letter of acceptance: 15th January 2017
Citizenship ceremony: 5th February 2017

Please remember that the citizenship acceptance doesn't immediately come with a national insurance number or a passport. You have to do them separately which takes some more time.
My partner came to the UK and then completed his form but from the sounds of it, this doesn't make it go any quicker or slower than if you apply from your home country. PLEASE don't do what my partner did and just assume it will take no time at all as we were waiting so anxiously for ages! Also the home office do not have a phone number and don't take well to trying to email them all the time. If you are keen for an update you can go through your local MP but they do not have power over the home office - they just manage to get into contact with them in ways which i never could...
good luck you guys, it'll all fall into place for you!

Hi everyone.
I'm applying for British citizenship for my nephew whose mum is Fillipino and dad is British (but were never married).
I have a couple of questions about the UKF form:
He hasn't lived in UK so doesn't have a National Insurance Number - is that ok?
For section 2 (Good Character) he is a student and has never worked or paid tax in the - UK.
What do I write in 2.2-2.5?
I understand I need to send by nephews passport and birth certificate (which has he's dad's name on) and his dad's birth certificate. Do I also need to send his dads passport?
Many thanks

I wanted to thank everyone. All the posts have been very helpful while filling out and mailing the form.
I was born in the US to an American mother and British father who were not married.
Thought I would post my timeline for any other Americans looking for advice in their process.

7th June: Package sent from Cleveland
9th June: Package signed for in Liverpool
14th June: Email confirmation from HO saying the process had begun
20th June: Email inviting me to contact UKVI New York for them to assist me in creating an appointment in Cleveland to do my biometrics
5th July: Biometric appointment in Cleveland
10th September: Acceptance letter dated the 1st of Sept arrived saying an invitation for a ceremony is to come.

I'll try to update every step !
