They still haven't deducted the fees from my bank account...should I be worried?
I called a few days ago and was told that they have received my application but it's not showing up on the system yet, and that I should call in a week's time as it can take a month for it to appear on the system....whaa?

Dont worry you are not alone.
Lot of us are waiting to hear good news and i know its frustrating but all we can do is wait wait wait lol thats why its my username and i created it in 2012 when i applier FLRm

I applied for naturalisation on 10/10/2014 and still waiting..

That is so comforting @WAIT WAIT WAIT the post man has been already just a few bills sob sob...

Will cheer will cancel this week and look forward to next week ,with XMAS coming there will be chaos at Royal mail.

I have also received my letter of invitation from council dated 25th November 2014. The funny thing is I still haven't received my official letter from HO yet. It still must be with royal mail Either way very happy that a very long journey with HO has come to an end. No more extensions, hefty fees and more importantly the long dreaded wait. Thanks to everyone here for proving very helpful information and good luck to everyone who are still waiting. I think it looks like all october applicants will get a very good christmas present soon. After seeing so many approvals from after when I applied now, I got very excited when I saw a brown envelope when I got home...but it was from HMRC for my other half. Boo.

I have been here since I was 3 years old. My indefinite Leave took over 6 months and I had to contact the local MP.
I am amazed how fast this was. I can't wait to get the ceremony over and done with and then get my RED PASSPORT!

To be honest for the amount of money, I think all applications should be this quick, and they should just be able to pick up a British Passport at the Ceremony.

It's not the record, somebody received after 25 days. There is a post here somebody sent on 28 October and received approval several days ago.

Phoned to see if they had made a decision, given that apps after mine have been decided. She said it's ongoing. Hope it's not an EU delay.
