Hope I didn't wake anyone up, but even if I did, it is allowed in such cases.

P.S. Honestly though, I can't believe you actually wrote that. How do you know my keyboard didn't break and the CAPS lock key could have stuck or perhaps I am visually impaired?...

Yes RU55IAN i'm agree with you
its all depends on case worker's mood, state of mind or feelings is a bit precipitate.
My case wasn't complicated, but unfortunately my reconsideration review not successful.
RU55IAN wrote:Well... I don't know about the degree of softness of my case worker's mind, but what I know is that my case was far from standard and involved much consideration and piles of documents and investigation throughout my journey.

I have been living in the UK for 15 years and whilst being illegal for some period, it was not due to me purposely disobeying the law and having no regard for immigration control.
It was a complicated case involving detectives, MPs, MBEs, OBEs, solicitors and a number of other individuals.

Anyway, the mess has now come to an end and all has been clarified, which makes me very happy.

I think that simply relying on a case worker's mood, state of mind or feelings is a bit precipitate. Hard evidence and explanations must be provided to make people understand what one tries to prove.

I wish all good luck and hope all works out.

Ok. Harder to read for who?

Has there been an extensive research into this? Can anyone provide official statistics? On the contrary, application forms are usually filled out in capitals to make it more clear, not to make it harder to read and it's not like I wrote a book in capitals.
Perhaps, simply understanding that I was expressing overflowing feelings of happiness and leaving it alone would be more suitable, without having to tell me how to write in a patronising manner.

There have been studies. It's also a matter of etiquette.

Hi guys I got my ILR on Friday after 6 years discretionary leave which was granted in 2011. I think I first applied for ILR in 2005 or 2006 and got subsequently rejected any times until 2011 when I was given dlr. my question is will my 10 years ban start from 2005/2006 when I first applied and got rejected or 2011 when I was given dlr? Thanks

The first time we ever replied must have been in 2006. We kept getting rejected through the years until 2011 when we got 6 years dlr

UKBA needs clean immigration history for last 10 years which means that you can apply in 2021 for nationality but if you have money and time and ready to fight you can try chances are 50 percent because its a discretion game so depends you can get from them as you done in past carry on fighting and lastly succeeded in 2011.waiting 2021 still 4 to 5 years .there is stress in this game if you bear that?also need good solicitor who does these type of nationality cases and have a good feed back for nationality clients, not only visa ones

From what I've read it starts from the first day of your EEA residency since that when you acquired legal
Status

If for example, you had submitted an application that was deemed invalid but you made a subsequent application which was successful, then it may be decided that your time as an overstayer is not a reason for you to be refused. In general any period of overstaying should not be deliberate nor substantial. If there were other aggravating circumstances such as working illegally then it's unlikely any discretion will be used.
Hi there, abit old information, but I just want to pick up some points on it.
Am sort similar situation at the moment, and in the process of naturalisation, am likely to be refused??

I did disclose in the questionaire that I breach the UK immigration rules,, btwn 2008 - 2009

I was told not to work at that time, as I submitted my RC application, until I received it in post.

Will my previous overstayed offence affect my naturalisation?

NO UKBA only ask questions those who will apply before 10 years but if you applying in sep 2017 will be fine no question for being illegal here only other things will be checked eg criminal record or driving offences bank all other things except ( illegal )

Wait until 2020, after 10th anniversary of your marriage.
