Glauco
NCS or Postal: Postal
Date of submission: 07/02/2011
Date reached HO: 08/02/2011
Date of Debit Card deduction: 12/02/2011
Date of receipt of acknowledgment letter: 16/02/2011 (12/02/2011)
Date UKBA made decision:tba
Date of receipt of approval letter: tba (I sent a pre-paid special delivery envelope with the application)
Date of receipt of Ceremony Invitation letter: tba ( Dated tba)
Date of ceremony: tba (Private)

Previously I thought my card had been debited late Friday. I checked my account 5:23pm and no deduction, and Saturday 10am I saw the 780 deducted. I assumed that they worked late Friday. But it seems that they work Saturdays too (or maybe only overtime). As the fee was probably deducted Saturday morning, and the acknowledgment letter has the Saturday date on it.

May I know why you say this is incredibly efficient? Even if we consider that UKBA received the application on 6th Jan 2011. The approval letter received on 16th Feb 2011. It took 41 days.

Considering that it might take up to 6 months to process the application it is fair to say that it is incredibly efficient :D

Currently most of the straight forward applications are not taking up to 6 months time as mentioned. My calculation is 4 to 6 weeks after UKBA receives the application for most straight forward application.

Check here for all the IPS questions You just need to make sure you are familiar with what you filled in your submitted IPS application form. I will advise you keep a photocopy before you submit your passport application.

For PP application if you went through 'Check & Send', all that are required are your passport and Naturalization certificate.
