British Council (English Test)

Hi

I would like to submit my husband application form in january but I have an issue which is the english test because its only available in March in the british council!! So can he does it in any center or it should be in British Council (india)?
Please help

Applied for spouse visa 30 May
Ready for collection 16 Aug
Visa stamped 15 Aug

I had the same problem with British Council in Latvia only holding exams in June and December so my fiance went to Kiev in Ukraine to do the KET in Sept. The exams can be taken anywhere if they are on the approved list.

It does not have to be British Council. It has to be from an approved test centre. You can get the list of approved test centers from the UKBA website http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... -tests.pdf or locally where you hand in your application form.

thanks alot. I have found another center from the home office website where he can do the test but there is a Computer Based exam and Paper based exam, is there's any different between the two? and if he does the computer based exam is it fine? because the paper based exam only in feb
