Hello,
I'm currently coming up to the 5 years of being on pre-setled status. I first got an unmarried partner visa and then I was given given pre-settled status. In the meantime my partner has naturilized and become a British citizen. Before he was an EU national and now he has dual citizenship. From what I've read I will need to apply by post and will need to provide evidence that he's been excersing his treaty rights.
Now, the problem is that because of some arguments within our relationship he doesn't want to provide me with any documents. So the question is:
if I don't apply for settled status will I my pre-settled status be extended for 2 years ?
Will I at some point be automatically given the settled status ?
Are his documents are really required for my application?
Thank you for your answers.

Yes, the documents are required as your status depends on the relationship. If you break up, you will automatically lose your right to stay in the UK.

Is it possible for the settled status to be revoked if my partner informs the Home Office that our relationship had ended before the 5 year period?
I mean a situation where I get the settled status and later my partner tells the HO that the relationship ended earlier and we were no longer partners when I applied.

I wouldn't know this in detail, but if you know the relationship broke down and knowingly didn't inform the HO to get settled status, it may sound like you are hiding the truth to break immigration law.

You need the documents as your status is dependant on the EU sponsor .Also, once your granted settled status…you should be safe. But for settled status, you need his UAN for his settled status and copies of his passport

As far as I understand, I need to prove that our relationship is subsisting which I can do with a utility bill (it has both our names) and also both our names are on the house insurance.
If I don't apply for settled status at 5 years I will be able to say that our relationship broke down but I can show that at the 5 year point both our names were on the bills. Since it broke down I can't provide UAN or copies of his passport.
Is my reasoning correct?
